Our beautifully handcrafted weaving shuttle in the shape of a cute little cat!. This adorable kitty is great for inkle looms, tablet weaving, card weaving and other small detail work. The bottom edge is beveled for pushing those threads in nice and tight. Handmade of solid Mahogany and carefully hand sanded and finished with a combination of oil and wax for a natural smooth satin finish.
Measurements:
Approximately 5" long (from paw to tail) x 1 3/4" wide (from top of ear to beveled edge) x 1/8" thick

I've been eyeing these kitty shuttles for awhile and finally got them. I haven't tried them yet, but I think they will work well. They're lightweight and small enough that they'll fit fine in the sometimes-tight shed of my inkle loom (I do card/tablet weaving exclusively), but they should hold a decent amount of weft. I particularly like the beveled edge on the bottom so that I don't need a separate tool to constantly pick up and put down in order to beat the weaving.
